About this data

Every number on this site comes from the Medical Education Commission's (MEC) own lists. We do not edit numbers by hand. Data built on 2026-10-15.

Sources

• Result lists (score to rank): MEC's 2080 MBBS and BDS result, 2080 BSc Nursing result, and the 2081 and 2082 category-wise results.
• Cut-offs: MEC's admission lists for every scholarship and paying round of the 2080, 2081 and 2082 sittings.
• Each cut-off was checked against the result list: its marks equal the marks of that rank in the same year.

What each number means

• Rank for a score: 1 + the number of candidates who scored higher that year. Candidates on the same marks share a rank.
• First list: the last candidate (marks and rank) admitted to a college's paying seats in MEC's first list.
• Later round: admitted in a later round: first re-matching, second list, second re-matching, wrap-up or the alternate (vaikalpik) list.
• Lowest: the deepest rank admitted in any round.
• At the cut-off: your marks equal the last marks admitted. Candidates on the same marks were split by MEC's tie-break.
• Scholarship and quota lines: the same, for the four scholarship lists (first, first re-matching, second, second re-matching), for Open and each quota group.
• Score mode and rank mode: before results, a score is compared with each year's marks. After results, a rank is compared with each year's ranks, because papers differ in difficulty from year to year while seat numbers change slowly.
• Years: 2080 (Kartik 2080), 2081 (Bhadra 2081), 2082 (Kartik 2082, "last year").

What is left out

• Nepal Army Welfare Fund seats (NAIHS only).
• BSc Midwifery seats.
• Quota rows we could not read. In all three years, every MBBS quota seat we could read went to a government (community) school student; BDS and Nursing had a few exceptions.

Past results, not a prediction

This year's cut-offs will be different. The finder shows what a score or rank got in each of the last three years; it does not say what will happen this year.
